Born in Seoul 1995, he started his piano studying at the age of 7. He graduated Yewon School, Seoul arts high School and Bachelor at Kyung Hee University in Seoul, with Pianist/ Prof. Julius-Jeongwon Kim. Now he is studying at Universität Mozarteum Salzburg with Prof. Pavel Gililov. As a student he was awarded Shinhan Bank Scholarship Award, and also received Yamaha Music Scholarship.

He won several international and national piano competitions, which includes 2^nd prize at Prague Spring International Piano Competition, 2^nd Prize at Shanghai International Piano Competition, 3r^d Prize and Best Mazurka Performance Prize at Asia-Pacific International Chopin Piano Competition, 4^th prize at Ettlingen International Piano Competition, 1^st prize at Dong-A National Piano Competition, and also 1^st prize at Busan National Music Competition and Korean Chopin Competition.
